Maggie Maye Hudson is here!!

Maggie Maye Hudson is here!! I'm so excited to introduce my new niece! She is absolutely beautiful! Here are a few pictures of my brother (the proud dad) and my parents and I with Maggie!

First Day of School

Zack is in 6th grade this year so he is now in Middle School at Archer Lodge Middle. He is very excited. This year, 6th graders can try out for sports and he plans on trying out for soccer and basketball this year. He is in advanced classes and is very excited about having a little more independence!!

 

Lily is in 3rd grade this year and is still at Corinth-Holder Elementary School. She was excited because this year she is in the upper elementary side of the building. She will have 2 teachers and will be switching classes for the first time. She decided to stop doing gymnastics, but is now going to be doing a Hip-Hop class in Smithfield. She is nervous about the BOG and EOG but we know she will rock it no problem!!

Olivia Ann went back to day care and is in the 2 year old room full time. She is potty trained now and is becoming quite the talker. She learns more and more everyday and keeps surprising us with all of her new words. We are hoping she has a great year!

Addilyn will be in the infant 2 room at daycare and will be going 3 days a week. She will be staying at Ellen and Tommy's house 2 days a week. She is walking and is beginning to say a few new words. She is non-stop and we know she will learn a lot this year!

Summer 2016

This summer was a whirlwind. We had such a wonderful summer. TJ worked all summer which was a bummer but thankfully he had off on Fridays! We did our best to make the most of our summer and our time together. Here are a few pictures of our adventures!

Ocean Lakes 2016

We visited Ocean Lakes this week with Me-Me, Pa-Pa, Uncle Justin and Aunt Andrea! We had so much fun!! We started out at Broadway at the Beach. We ate lunch at Liberty Brewing and the kids rode rides. At Ocean Lakes we enjoyed the new water park, playing in the sand, the playground, the basketball courts, and all the extra activities. Zack played in the putt-putt tournament. We all enjoyed a game of BINGO where Olivia Ann won best dressed. Zack and Lily went to camp two days and Zack, Lily, and Olivia Ann tie-dyed shirts!

Addilyn Ruth is 1 year old!

 It is amazing how quickly a year goes by! I can't believe that Addilyn is 1 year old. She is walking everywhere with ease. She is starting to like food a little bit more and she isn't so sure about regular milk. She did not like her cake at her birthday party. She isn't really into sweet things, including fruit. She loves french fries, green peas, and macaroni and cheese! She loves to copy her big sister Olivia Ann and is starting to develop a silly personality. Addilyn has 3 teeth that are all the way through and there are 3 more working their way through. We love you forever and ever sweet Addi!

Zack and Lily's End of the Year Pictures and Awards Days

Zack is now finished with 5th grade and Lily is finished with 2nd. They both received wonderful awards at their award ceremonies which shows how hard they worked in school this year! They both can't wait for next school year and are both really excited to have a break this summer!!

Addilyn Ruth is 11 months old!

Our sweet sunshine is 11 months old! I can't believe how quickly this year is going by. She is now a expert walker and continues to love playing with things she isn't supposed to play with. She is working on saying a few more words. She has 3 teeth and is working on getting her 4th. She isn't too sure about food, but is beginning to find some things she likes. She can point to her nose and has found new joy in clapping and giving high fives! We are so lucky she is ours!!

Zack's Spring 2016 Soccer Season

Zack started playing soccer with JUSA Recreation in the Fall. This Spring season he had a lot of the same teammates which was wonderful. The team was great. They played together so well and had a great season. They did well in the tournament as well. We are so proud of the soccer player that Zack is becoming.

Addilyn Ruth is 10 months old!!

This is the best I could do for monthly pictures this month! Addilyn will not sit still long enough for her picture to be taken. She was walking towards me as I took this one. She started walking last month and hasn't slowed down since. She likes to wonder around the house and get into everything! She doesn't enjoy her toys as much as she enjoys everything she hasn't explored yet. She tries to climb the stairs and climb on basically everything. She is 100 mph and is still the happiest baby! She is starting to show her strong will and doesn't like it when you tell her no! She has 2 teeth on the bottom and her top left tooth is making its way in. She says, "ma-ma, da-da, hey, and bye-bye"

Olivia Ann's first haircut!

Olivia Ann had her first haircut! I had talked to her all week about how we were going to get it done on Saturday and she seemed happy/fine with it. We talked about how they would tickle her hair and she seemed to like the idea....until we got there. When we got there she was not happy and didn't want her hair cut!!

Addilyn Ruth is 9 months old!

Addilyn has been busy this month! She continued to have hard time with ear infections so she will be getting tubes in a couple of days. She is walking now as long as she is holding on to a stroller. She now has 2 teeth. She can stand up without holding on to anything and she LOVES to laugh! She will laugh at pretty much anything. She still has a sweet, laid back personality. She is one happy little girl!

TJ and Zack's Birthday

 

TJ turned 38 this year and Zack turned 11. Zack had a busy weekend with soccer and another friend's birthday party, so we did a small friends and family dinner to celebrate on Sunday! The weather was nice so we grilled out and spent some time outside.
